The shot looks like it is taken straight upon axis into the carport.
If so then the living room is to the left. Looks like the steel posts in the foreground of the slab will hold the cantilevered steel the cuts transverse across the carport to catch the long beam coming out from the corner where there those two white vertical pipes are sticking up from the slab.
Looks like the rectangular hole in the slab at center of photograph will be the masonry mass of the fireplace. To the left of that opening and in between the steel posts there is a blue duct in the foreground of the slab topped with black plastic. I think that will be concealed by a low built in table that terminates a built in seat which acts as an entry screen and makes a 90 degree connection with the fireplace mass. My bet is that concealed duct under the table is going to be a return. I'm guessing they're going to supply high. This ought to be interesting.
Is this picture taken from College Street with McDonald to the left?
